Beautiful Bliss
I love how God can use all the parts in our lives that seem like ashes and turn them into beautiful pieces of art for his glory. This week has been a struggle for me in numerous ways with family,finances,school and the list can go on.I was reminded of Job and all the trials this man faced ,yet he praised God through them all.That really encouraged me, and I began to ponder different thoughts.There is this analogy I love that talks about a silversmith and his silver.You see a silversmith doesn’t know when to remove his silver from the fire until he sees his reflection in it.In the meanwhile he is holding it the whole time…..just waiting.I felt that way this week.Even in the fire,God was holding me the whole time just wanting to see more of his heart engrained within me.It is in those mountain tops that we see God ,but it is in the valleys that we grow.Refined by the fire.
Trials produce patience,perserverance,character……
Faith.Daniel and his boys had no idea that Jesus was going to be physically with them,but they were obedient even unto death in the fiery furnace.Jehovah-nissi(God is my banner,my defense).He was with them till the end and blessed them,not even one hair was burned.What fires have you not let God enter in your life this week?He wants to not only go through them with you but carry you out of them as well.How great is our God.Draw near to God and he will draw near to you.
